# Hypnotherapy

The word “hypnosis” is quite a loaded term, and some people are frightened by it because they have a misconception of what it really is. From the early 1900s until about 1990, it was almost exclusively men who practiced hypnosis; at least, I have never heard of women hypnotizing before then. Old pictures reveal that the mystery was maintained for the common person by publishing images on posters and books. These images almost always featured a male hypnotist, often posed from a bird’s-eye view looking down at a female client, which in itself suggests manipulation and power. Since then, media such as film, TV, and radio have done their best to give hypnosis a mystical feel. This is a common misconception we address for those seeking hypnosis in Gothenburg.

Dynamic Emotional Therapy

The work I do most with clients is helping them release negative emotional patterns.

Hypnosis – a powerful state!

The work I do most with clients is helping them release negative emotional patterns.

Over the years, many attempts have been made to define a hypnotic state, but in truth, no one has ever really succeeded. Perhaps this is because people want hypnosis to be something more mysterious than it actually is. The truth is that no one really knows exactly what hypnosis is, and there are as many explanations for it as there are stars in the sky. Or, well – we actually do know what it is, but perhaps we don’t want to accept its simplicity. Hypnosis connected to therapy is nothing new either; it has existed and continues to exist in many different forms. As the saying goes, a beloved child has many names, and you will notice that there are many different methods out there. Some therapists are trained in the older school, where the focus is on physical relaxation and suggestion-based therapy (suggestion therapy). Other training programs include various therapeutic approaches in the hypnotic state, such as NLP (neuro-linguistic programming). In my view, no method is more correct than another, as long as it is performed in a competent and client-oriented way.

Many have tried to describe and document the hypnotic state. The American Society of Clinical Hypnosis describes hypnosis as a state of inner absorption, concentration, and focused attention. Hypnosis is a process in which a health care professional or a researcher suggests that the subject experiences changes in feelings, perceptions, thoughts, and behaviors, which can be described as an altered state of consciousness.

In my world, it is the most powerful state for achieving and creating lasting change!

Dynamic Emotional Therapy

The work I do most with clients is helping them release negative emotional patterns.

This is a very powerful form of therapy that takes our connection to an even deeper level. As I see it, we are born with a lot of instinctive and unconscious information. To access this, we need to take the therapy to an even deeper level. This therapeutic process focuses on the connection and information that may exist between our parents and us.

This form is a therapeutic method developed by me through my work with many clients. The method is individual and integrates principles from several recognized hypnotherapeutic methods to address the client’s specific problems. It is a holistic method that considers both the cognitive and the emotional, using the hypnotic state to reach the subconscious and unconscious mind. There, we explore emotional patterns, behaviors, memories, and reactions that may be the basis for the problems an individual experiences in their current life.

As a hypnotherapist, I use my own hypnotic techniques that I have developed through my work. With these, I create the best conditions for my clients to explore and change underlying emotional connections on a deeper level. Dynamic Emotional Therapy strives to understand how past experiences, especially emotional ones, can create destructive connections. By exposing, identifying, and processing these underlying patterns, the therapy aims to build a safe and balanced foundation for life’s future challenges. Through increased awareness, clients can create healthier ways of managing their emotional reactions and relationships. This is the power of expert hypnosis in Gothenburg.

Can events from a past life affect our current one? There is a lot of documentation in this area that indicates there is something before and after. When searching for hypnosis in Gothenburg, people are often curious about this.

“Life must be lived forwards, but it can only be understood backwards.”

In regression, you go back in time to experience a previous existence. For this to be possible, the client’s receptivity needs to be opened up. Once receptivity is there, the process begins. I do not record these sessions, but to get further confirmation, several clients have visited places from their often very strong regression experiences. Sometimes, the experience in a previous existence can release current problems or symptoms.

Many of these experiences have been confirmed to be historically authentic, though these facts are not often reflected in the mass media. In Sweden, talking about concepts concerning the soul and spirit has long been almost taboo. The leading authority in the scientific study of reincarnation is Ian Stevenson, who documented many cases, particularly with children, whose stories are often uncolored by established society. Our practice for hypnosis in Gothenburg is open to exploring these deep connections.
